Nice Boots
Date:August 12, 2011
I bought these boots basically because brashers always fit me really well, its just a shame they dont make really top quality boots. The boots are very waterproof, and have been though a multitude of bogs, and even brief submersions in rivers, but havent let anything in. The lacing system is really good and versatile as well, but the rand at the front doesn't go quite far enough round, so the ball of your foot isnt very well protected, and gets bruised throughout the day. The sole isnt quite stiff enough either, so the bottom of your feet get a bit sore as well. The insole is brilliant at the heel, with a shock absorbing system, and a supported instep helps me a great deal. In summary, great boots for low walks, where bog is likely, but up high where its rocky they arent ideal. I got them for half price, and I'm very happy with them, if I had bought them full price I would be disappointed.
