The Manta is Scarpa's new and improved Manta, offering a lighterweight boot (approximately 10% lighter) than it's predecessor. The Manta is perfectly suited for 4 season walking, UK winter climbs, 'easier' alpine climbs, and glacier walking/trekking. The Manta will take a full step in crampon (B2 recommended) . The fit of this Manta has been improved with more trials and tests to perfect the last, and the new pro-fibre mid sole gives slightly more flex, but still offers enough rigidity for crampon use.
